(Tuscany-Florence)
Every itinerary that I propose can be changed to
accommodate your desires.
Shore excursions in general start at 8.00 am at the dock and end at 5-5.30 pm at the dock.
 |
You will find me at the dock-port of your cruise ship in Livorno waiting for you with a sign bearing your name.I will pick up you and we will drive 25 min to visit Pisa.
After visiting Pisa we will move to visit Florence driving about one hour.
When we will be in Florence we will stop by the front of the Cattedral and I will give you all the informations about the Cattedral of Florence: the Duomo.
If you wish you can have the reservation for the museum of the Accademia to see the Michelangelo's David (you will avoid the line to go in).
In the city of Florence we can visit the Ponte vecchio, the Palazzo della signoria and more and you will have time for your shopping if you wish.
The last step of the tour of Florence will be the Michelangelo's hill to have a wonderful view of Florence.
At this point we will drive back to the ship for the right time.
The shore excursion of Florence from the Livorno port will be in total 9 hours. |
| If you have been in Florence before, you can choose, for your shore excursion, to have a wine tasting tour around the Tuscany area (visitnig even San gimignano for example) or to have shopping in one of the famous outlet of Florence. |
Tuscany is a region in central Italy, bordering on Latium to the south, Umbria and Marche to
the east, Emilia-Romagna and
Liguria to the north, and the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west. It
is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Italy.
|
|
| Tuscany was the birthplace of the Italian
Renaissance, and its artistic heritage includes architecture,
painting and sculpture, collected in dozens of museums, the
best-known of which is the Uffizi and the Bargello in Florence,
but also in many other towns and cities in the region. |
|
|
Tuscany was the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Dante Alighieri ("the father of the Italian language").
Tuscany is known for its wines (most famous of which are Chianti,
Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino) and has
120 protected regions (nature reserves).

Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pisa, Lucca, Barga,
the Maremma, the Crete Senesi, the Lunigiana and Garfagnana
