COLOSSEUM ENTRANCE LAST MINUTE’S NEWS; PLEASE READ VERY IMPORTANT NOTE !
The Italian State in Date March 2016 has decided to reinforce the security at the Colossium.Each client with or without reservation must pass through the metal detector ( like at the airport )!Nobody including tour operators as we are , tour companies , bus tours , shore excursions arranged by Cruises and single client are allowed to skip that step.We can only skip the line after we have passed this control and once we are inside as promised we will skip the line because we ‘ve already have your tickets.Your driver will assist you to get in , you will not be alone during this and only when you are inside the driver will return to his car waiting for you while you are enjoying the visit! Rome Car Tours is legally recognized, is in possession of the juridical requisite for power to perform the activities, and pays taxes regularly on all that is publicized and commercial.
Sometimes Rudy’s Touring Service will request credit card to book the services.
Although sometimes I have required your VISA or MC credit card details upon reservation, Rudy’s touring service DOES NOT CHARGE YOUR CARD, THE CREDIT CARD IS FOR WARRANTY.
Payment is to be made in the form of Euros cash preferably OR visa or mastercard at the end of each service directly to your driver or guide.
The credit card details are only collected to guarantee my cancellation policy and when applicable, for the guarantee of payment of our up front expense for your pre-purchased, non-refundable & non-exchangeable tickets.
These tickets include the Vatican, Colosseum, Borghese Gallery, Accademia, Uffizi or other applicable tickets as required for your itinerary.
No refunds are available once an itinerary or service has commenced.
Cancelling a confirmed itinerary with Rudy’s Touring Service can result in cancellation fees being applied by Rudy’s Touring Service, as outlined below.
When canceling any booking you will be notified via email or telephone of the total cancellation fees. All vouchers are issued by Bella Italia Tour Operator, “The Way to Italy” for attraction/museum tickets.
These are non-refundable in all circumstances once they have been purchased on your behalf.
Special Event Period:
These are non-refundable in all circumstances. Tours commencing during a period of special event including but is not limited to: Public or National Holidays, New Year`s, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter. Other Tour
Products & Services:
I do ask that you please provide us as much advance notice as is possible in the unlikely event that you should need to cancel your services as I generally book services well in advance in order to provide you with your required dates.
I will also likely turn others away for your dates once you do confirm as we often become fully booked quite early on especially in high season.
In case of a cancellation that is over the stated time limit listed. The penalty falls within the rights and codes listed:
Cancellation 1week given before of requested service:
NO penalty Cancellation 72hours given before the time of requested service:
20%penalty Cancellation 48hours given before the time of requested service:
35%penalty Cancellation 24hours given before the time of requested service:
70%penalty Cancellation less than 24hours before,
From 24 hours before the service is fully charged
No show, the service is fully charged
Admission tickets purchased on your behalf will still be charged at 100%.
The tours (whether they be four hours, seven hours, or a full day) cannot be cancelled without penalty the same day of the tour.
To cancel the service without the maximum penalty, it is necessary to contact Rudy’s Touring Service at least seven days prior to the beginning of the requested service.
If the ship is not able to dock in port for reasons that are out of the control of the clients, I will not charge any fee to the client for your itinerary though you will be charged 100% for any admission tickets purchased on your behalf.
If you choose to schedule tours immediately following your arrival flight please be aware that the cancellation policy will apply for changes to flights, delays or missed flights so we ask that you consider this when booking services on your arrival or departure date.
Rudy, pride ourselves on his precision and do his best to answer any and all requests. If, by chance, you do not find a reply to an inquiry that you have made with our company, I urge you to kindly resend or try and contact my company immediately. Occasionally, it may happen that a request gets lost or goes catalogued as a spam file due to an email filter and since I find it extremely important to respond to all of my customers or my potential customers with courtesy and promptness, I kindly as my customers to try sending their request again. I will do my very best to satisfy every request in the shortest time possible.
Last minuts Booking
Please note that if you have contacted us earlier asking for specific dates but have not confirmed those dates, it does not mean that these specific dates have been reserved for you and therefore may no longer be available. I will do my best to satisfy any need of a last minute request but obviously based on what I have available. Please take into account that to confirm a specific service the day before your departure date may be a bit risky since I do have a limited staff and prefer not to take such risks when it comes to your peace of mind.
NOTE: My SERVICE IS SOLELY CONFIRMED WHEN THE POTENTIAL CUSTOMER HAS RECEIVED AN EMAIL CONFIRMING SERVICES ALONG WITH THE DETAILS OF THE TOUR DATE AND TIME. IF THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL IS NOT RECEIVED THAN PLEASE CONCLUDE THAT THE SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED. I SUGGEST YOU CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION.
No verbal/phone agreements are taken in consideration, for a tour to be confirmed you must have a detailed contract that we’ll send you only once all is agreed.
A phone call is just a way to get information about us, get to talk to us it doen’t mean a tour is confirmed, for the tour to be confirmed, we must send you a contract with all the details of your tour.
Tours start time is the moment you meet your driver or guide.
According to the Italian and international privacy laws, your personal information is extremely confidential and will NOT be given or distributed to any third party.
All our vehicles are covered by an insurance policy taken out with the major insurance companies, and my drivers are all professionals and holders of an authorized license.
In Italy, by Law, drivers are NOT authorized to accompany you while you are actually visiting INSIDE museums or monuments or Churches: they will be waiting outside with the vehicle; however they will give you information on the places where you’ll stop and so about the sights you’ll see on your way to the main attractions.
For “in depth tours”, with more detailed information over history and art of our country, Rudy’s Touring Service offers a team of carefully selected expert local LICENSED TOUR GUIDES. In this case you’d have your Tour Guide walking with you INSIDE each attraction you’ll visit during the tour.
ENTRANCE FEES, MEALS AND DRINKS ARE NOT INCLUDED UNLESS SPECIFIED ON THE CONTRACT.
About the Golf Cart Service:
TERMS & CONDITIONS : The Golf cart are electric vehicles subject to wear and tear, continuously put under stress by the streets of Rome which may contain small holes and cracks and of course, the historic characteristic of cobblestones.
If there is a problem with the transport and we were unable to continue with our tour,Rudy guarantees the following 2 alternatives:
1 Recovery of the tour that same day or the following day, with a replacement vehicle similar to or equal to the requested vehicle or using a Mercedes minivan if other transports are not available.
2 In the case where no means of transport are (Golf Cart nor Mercedes mininvan ) The client will not incur any cost and will accept the two options mentioned above. The client will not leave any negative feedback for he/she has accepted and signed the following contact.
In the case in which the vehicle is undergoing maintenance or is not in proper working condition, we guarantee that the tour will be conducted with a replacement vehicle similar to or equal to the requested vehicle or using a Mercedes minivan .In the case both options were not available, the client will not incur any cost , the guides and tickets booked in advance will be our responsibility entirely. Accepting the two options mentioned above, the client by accepting and signing the contract agrees that he or she will not leave any negative feedback .
